Welcome Aboard LATS

LATS is pleased to continue a tradition of providing quality public transportation for the residents of Lawton/Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.  As our fleet of buses rolls through the community, our drivers and staff will roll out the red carpet to give you a safe, clean, affordable, and comfortable commute.  

Hours of Operation
LATS’ Fixed Route System operates from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
 

Frequency Of Service
LATS fixed route system operates hourly during normal business hours. Each route begins and ends at the downtown transfer center located at 4th & B Ave.

Note:  The Orange Route, which services Fort Sill may be delayed or temporarily discontinued without any notice due to security requirements. Fort Sill controls all security measures related to passengers entering its installation and may deny access to any passenger onto the installation.

Holiday Schedule
LATS does not provide service on Sundays or the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Lost and Found
If you find a lost item on the bus, please give it to the operator. If you leave an item on a Fixed Route bus, please call LATS at 580-248-5252 or TTY 580--248-3940 (for hearing impaired). LATS keeps items for 30 days. After 30 days, the items are donated to either the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

LATS on Regular Routes 

The Lawton Area Transit System (LATS) would like to inform the community that we are running regular routes.

Blue Route Detour

The Blue Routes will not provide service between 45th & Lee to 67th & Gore Blvd. Due to storm damage.Sorry for the Inconvenience LATS.

Yellow west Detour

  March 2009 thru February 2010,  67th st. will be closed north of Cache rd. Yellow west will turn right on Cache rd. left on GreatPlains, right on Andrews, back on route.

Orange Route I-44 Construction

Due to construction on I-44 you can expect delays or detours on the Orange Route. Sorry for the Inconvenience. LATS

CodeRED Registration

Free weather and/or public safety emergency notification for citizens. Comanche county citizens will be able to sign up for CodeRED via the internet @ www.cityof.lawton.ok.us or www.comanchecounty.us click on the CodeRED link, If you do not have internet access you can call 2-1-1 (Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm ONLY)

CodeRED is a high-speed, high volume telephone service that notifies up to (60,000 calls per hour) at the same time during weather and public safety emergency situations.
